Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we never see, and the choices you have. Last updated 2026.
Information we collect
Every number you type into a calculator on this site is processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your voltage, current, power factor, or any other input is never sent to our servers, logged, or stored anywhere. There is no account, no signup, and no form that submits calculator inputs to us.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages and calculators get used, in aggregate. Google Analytics collects standard web-analytics data: the pages you view, the approximate time spent on them, your device and browser type, an approximate location derived from your IP address (typically city or region level, not a precise address), and the site that referred you here. It does this using cookies and similar identifiers set by Google, not by us directly.
Search Console verification
This site includes a Google Search Console verification tag. That tag only proves to Google that we own this domain, so we can see how the site performs in Google Search. It does not track visitors, set cookies, or collect any personal data.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (typically named starting with _ga) to distinguish returning visitors from new ones. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any cookie that tracks you across other websites. We do not sell or share data with data brokers or ad networks.
Your choices
You can block Google Analytics with a browser privacy extension, an ad blocker, or by installing Google's official Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking analytics does not affect any calculator's functionality since none of them depend on it.
Children's privacy
This site is a general-purpose reference tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, and the aggregate analytics described above do not identify individual visitors of any age.
Data retention
Aggregate analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings and is not exported or archived by us beyond viewing standard reports. If you email us, we keep that message only as long as needed to respond and resolve the matter.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, meaningfully, for example if we ever add advertising, we will update this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
