Terms of Use
Plain terms for using a free calculator site. No account, no contract to sign.
Using this site
Free to use
kwcalculator.com is free for personal, educational, and commercial use. You do not need an account, and you do not need our permission to link to any page or embed a calculator result in your own work.
No warranty on the results
We take real care to keep every formula and constant accurate, sourced from IEEE, NIST, and NEC references, and tested against known worked examples. Even so, the calculators are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. For decisions involving electrical safety, code compliance, structural loads, or significant money, always verify the result against the latest published code (NEC, IEC, or your local equivalent) and have the work checked by a licensed electrician or engineer. This site is a reference and planning tool, not a substitute for professional sign-off.
What you can and cannot do
You may use, screenshot, and share results from the calculators freely. You may not scrape the site to republish its content or calculators as your own product, and you may not re-host the underlying source code without attribution back to kwcalculator.com.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, kwcalculator.com and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or reliance on, any calculator, formula, or reference table on this site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site grows. The date at the top of the privacy policy reflects the most recent update to either document. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
